Arrange your life so the choice to do the right thing is easier than failing.
Set the date with the friend to work out so you are committed.
      Enroll in automatic savings plan.
Keep a book with you at all times.
Keep sunscreen and a work out bag in the car.
Throw your mail out before you bring it in the house.
Clean the kitchen while you cook.
Wash the sheets and make the bed on the same day to skip the folding step.
Have bags and lunches packed the night before.
Plan the next friend get together before you leave the current one.
Designate a goodwill pile in the house and toss stuff as you see it.
In my dreams I run with the Kenyans.

Give your kids a bath before dinner if the dawkter's coming home late....and give yourself a facial or pedicure while the kids are in the bath.

Listen to kids' audio books in the car when running errands with your kids. It keeps bickering to a minimum and gets them back in the car quickly when you are in the store. "Let's hurry so we can find out what happens to Harriet the Spy." Also, keeps me from fretting about the news. And *someone* is reading to my kids. It's a win-win-win all around.

Car trash can. It's a Rubbermaid cereal container lined with a trash bag. I keep one in the back between the kids' carseats too. Very convenient when the kids get sick in the car too.

Shoe storage in a tight hallway without a mudroom.

I love this idea Mrs K. I am constantly picking up trash that the kids just toss on the floor of the van. I don't get too worked up about it because they have don't have a trash can but I should totally give them one.

Yeah. I got fed up after I found a rotten apple core in one of their cup holders.

We have a car trash can too but I love the idea of a lid!

We have one dance bag for both kids and keep mini shoe bags in there to be able to hand each kid their clothes/shoes easily.

We have a "key spot" where the keys always go because I got sick of constantly searching when my SIL lived with us.

Brush kids teeth in the bath so you don't have to go back in.

I stay in workout clothes on weekends or days I can be casual so I can easily do some squats or sit-ups wherever I'm at.

Prepping 4+ crock pot freezer meals on a weekend day can generate 2+ week's worth of dinners with less than an hour's worth of effort.

I started ordering my groceries online and picking them up at the store. Totally worth the $5 fee and I've come in under budget each week since I'm not as tempted with impulse buys.

We buy one frozen pizza each week for a dedicated easy night.

When your favorite (fill in the blank, usually jeans for me) wears out, look for a "new" pair on ebay.

                            Always.

Pack lunches while you're making your own lunch each day so you only have to wash cutting boards and knives once (Sunday is the hardest to remember but it can be done).

Also, we have a "leaving spot". So whenever you're ready, you sit in the leaving spot and DO NOT MOVE. otherwise, someone is always wandering around while I do hair or sunscreen. So I do whichever girl first and then send them to get their stuff (coats, backpacks, sun hats) and sit in the leaving spot. If they get up, I say "leaving spot" and they return there. They know we can't leave until everyone is ready in the spot.
