Sweet!! We're also in a water biome, but speaking of water...this special event is off the HOOK. And if you read the announcement, it sounds like areas that are already good for water Pokemon could have wild LAPRAS spawning.

My kids were mildly into collecting Pokemon cards before we started playing Pokemon Go, but now they've read the manga and some encyclopedia-type guide books so they're terrific references.

DH and I had a breakfast date this morning. While we ate I put a lure on the Pokestop across the street, then afterward, we went over to the nearest gym and took it down together.

Sounds a lot like our dates. We often choose spots to eat based on whether or not they have a pokestop or gym. We actually caught a Gyarados in the wild today!!

Holy frick, I was just saying at the dinner table that of COURSE you can't catch Gyarados in the wild, and hubby and kids alike were all, "Of course you can!" I still didn't really believe it.

DH caught his first wild Gyarados at WDW. That one ran from me. Since then I've caught two including the one today. I've yet to see a Lapras in the wild, although I've hatched a couple.
