• Shoe help!

I need to find shoes to wear with my bridesmaid dress. The bride said we could wear flats, and she doesn't really care what they look like. It's an outdoor wedding in southern Louisiana in late October. Here's the dress:
http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_...esmaid-dresses

The color is Lapis, which is sort of an eggplant color.

She suggested black, although I think a nude or metallic would look better, so right now I'm open to either, and I'll run it by her first. I like the idea of a peep toe with it, but I don't really know. I'm terrible at shoes. Bonus points if it fits wide feet though.

Any suggestions?

Definitely a nude/beige, good idea. Wedges are a really nice alternative to flats. These are some cheap, surprisingly comfy ones I got for a wedding (free shipping and returns) -

Zappos has such a vast range of sizes that you should be able to find a wide shoe.

My go to brand for dressy special occasion shoes is Nina - ninashoes.com. They fit true to size - not sure about wide though.

Sunset wedding, in the country outside of Baton Rouge. Not a high class event. I doubt there will be a second line.

Second line: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAMVDyHHqrY

This is a totally normal thing here. Even if they don't have it around downtown or outside, they will at least do one at the reception.

What kind of black flats, LilySayWhat? Patent? Leather? Pointy or round toe? I'm terrible at shoes - I think it's been at least a year since I bought a new pair, since it's so hard to find them that fit well and are comfortable.

Our Nine West outlet is good for flats and they have a great selection online. I have wide feet too. I would go with a black suede or leather. Peep toe would be cute.

Or these? http://www.easyspirit.com/Dayna-Wedg...e&prefv2=Black

Don't laugh, I have really difficult to fit feet, and I know these brands generally fit well.

I found these in black in a 7W at the Naturalizer Outlet today, so I got them: http://www.steinmart.com/life-stride...-25-catid-7003

Hopefully they're dressy enough, because I really couldn't find anything else.

I went to Nine West too, but they didn't have anything in wide, and the medium width just didn't fit.
