I loved my first day on the job. It's crazy busy and feels more like a hospital floor. So much more action! I can already identify some way to contribute to improving organization and function. Yay! It's feels good to have some experience from another academic health setting under my belt, and not be a rookie this time around

Sadly, I think I've fallen to a once a month cleaning around here too. I'm pretty sure most people clean more often!

I shoot for every other week, but realistically as long as I keep letting my kid walk around the house with crackers, I should probably be vacuuming at least weekly.

That's the blanket I finished Monday.

                Then I made a scarf.

Woke up at 5 almost every day this week and worked until the kids got up. Slowly getting back to feeling more like myself again!

I had a day to myself in Chicago earlier this week. I found a spa, got a pedicure and facial. Went to pick a polish color for my toes, and the one named "Today I accomplished zero" just called to me. I thought of this thread.

I took both kids to my OB follow-up visit. I thought that was pretty awesome, but compared to helping out with Halloween festivities at DS1's school today, while wearing DS2, I'd have to say this morning was crazier. Therefore, prouder moment.

I think just staying sane through my workweek was a major accomplishment. I'm out on PTO next week, and had to finish up two very urgent projects all while responding to crazy, last minute requests for support, and also putting together estimated goals for my department for next year. Last night I worked until 10pm, but it was worth it so that I can check out for the next 8 days! Just have to finish my homework tonight, and I am freeeee!
