  • What accomplishment are you most proud of this week?

This is an open thread for the week. Post more than once. It's good to be proud of lots of things!

So far, I'm proud that I actually have all Halloween costumes and ALL candy for trick-or-treaters. I'm always the one buying candy the day of. I feel so impressed with myself that I managed this stuff early (with Thomas' help when it came to costumes for the kids).

I'm also proud that I've started to make progress on buying Christmas gifts.

Finished the baby dresser, and even managed to fix it up when the drawers were sticking badly. It's so cute, and now I have a place to store all the adorable tiny clothes I can't stop buying!

After 18 years of marriage, I hung beautiful curtains in a room for the first time. I feel like I have a grown-up room, and I decorated it myself!!!

This weekend I managed to clean my bedroom completely. It usually a catch-all for crap that I don't want to deal with. It is clean, even under the bed!

I've made one big batch of soap and am working on 2 custom batches for a local brewery.

Today, I need to rake leaves and clean the first floor of the house.

          I am already exhausted.

            Surviving and not killing anybody.

Seriously though, probably making our Halloween costumes.

I actually worked out, AND practiced! Maybe not in the same day but this school year had consisted of weeks of only practicing or only working out so the fact that I did both is a win. Balance, people, balance!
