  • ^^ that's what I was referencing about being a seasoned athlete before becoming pregnant and then being able to safely continue the exercise your body is already used to. She's jumped on the CF bandwagon with her husband in the past year (or less) but the pics/videos she posts make the workouts look super dangerous. I'm sure she knows what she's doing and has permission/is being safe - it just bugs me, I can't explain why! Maybe it just does't look like a workout that is safe for pregnant people to me, not saying that means it *isn't*. I could say the same things about plenty of other things!

    • I ordered a Cool Lime Refresher in the Starbucks drive thru today, and when I pulled around to pay the barista looked at my belly and then felt the need to warn me that refreshers have caffeine! 1) I already know that, and there's barely any caffeine in there -- less than a soda. 2) I ordered a tall, not like a venti or something. 3) It's none of his damn business if I want to drink caffeine while I'm pregnant!! So annoying!

      • ^see that makes me feel like I was being unnecessarily judgy re: the crossfire thing You pregnant ladies know what's what - the rest of us need to shut it! Hope you enjoyed your barely caffeinated cool lime refresher!

Oh honey, you need an eye opener with a double shot of espresso, followed by a nap

              • E seemed to be doing great today, but her fever is back up again (101 - not crazy high, but enough that I can't send her to daycare). I guess if it's still up tomorrow I'll call the pediatrician. I may see if hubby can check her ears tonight just to make sure. She was pulling on them a little bit, but I think she was just playing - it's hard to tell. She's not congested and doesn't have any eye boogers. She's not acting sick, although she's definitely not 100% herself.

                          • Yuck. I'll pass. I'm so sorry. The email would be stressful enough on a full night's sleep. I hate clients, really. All of them.

Ask your provider about the Unisom that's safe to take for pregnant women.
Others have had success with melatonin.
                                Insomnia sucks!
