I got a huge crack in my windshield. We just changed our insurance after insuring Amanda, and it's going to cost us $450 to fix. What a bummer. To top it off, I just discovered that the exterior of my beloved van is rusting. Ugh.

    Yikes! That sucks.

I'll be in a city with multiple imsn friends from the 13th-19th and will be chaperoning teens so I won't get to visit with any of my friends. I'm pouting.

We still don't know what's wrong with our plumbing.
At least it's not on the city's end...
      I need a scope.

I'm irrationally upset that I just read on article on HuffPo that C's name is "rapidly rising up the ranks" of Nameberry searches this year. It hasn't been in the top 1,000 names in 8 decades and it's a family name. I'm going to go ballistic if it becomes a name like mine (10% of the women in my graduating class in HS had my name).

Not completely irrational, I felt the same way with A's. The singer didn't become popular until she was almost a year old and then Molly Ringwald named one of her kids the same. Also a family name for us, I feel your pain!

Agreed, not at all irrational! I felt similar annoyance when I saw that a family name of ours had jumped up on that same list. Still might consider it for our little one, but it used to be more unique. :P

I'm jumping on the non irrational bandwagon. DHs mentor and friend's last name is a name we loved for a boy (like 6 years ago we decided for a future boy) and Kourtney Kardashian named her son the same name. Now it's entirely too popular and I refuse to saddle my kid with a name common like mine!

I hate that. Recently, I've been having a terrible time staying a sleep. I fall asleep normally, but wake every two hours and don't really sleep soundly. It sucks.

I have been fighting something for a week now. I'm run down, headaches, body aches and overall feel like hell. I have too much to do to feel this way! Blah.

The weather app promised me "mostly sunny" for today when I checked yesterday. It's super cloudy and looks like it might rain. Wtf. Yesterday was gorgeous but I spent the bulk of it running errands, cooking/baking, doing laundry, tending to our little container garden, reorganizing cabinets, and cleaning so I could be completely chore-free today and could spend it at the pool. Ughhh soooo annoyed.

After three different companies, and the city public works department coming out, I found someone who is coming out tomorrow with both a camera and a locator to FIX our main line.
I am so happy about it!

(Everyone's camera has broken within the past 2 weeks - so weird!)
